A full renovation includes stripping back to the services, replacing plumbing and electrics, changing the layout and new flooring. It is required in older apartments or when a substantial change is wanted.
How to decide
Check the condition of the services and your long-term needs. Sometimes a light renovation today leads to a full one in two years, and then it is better to do it properly from the start.
