Behind every safe house stands a well designed structure. The structural engineer is responsible for the stability of the building – that it will withstand loads, earthquakes and wind. This is a role you must not do without.
What the structural engineer does
The engineer designs the foundations, columns, beams and slabs, and determines the quantity of reinforcement and the grade of concrete. Their precise drawings are the basis for safe execution of the structure.
Why you cannot skip it
Any structural change – demolishing a wall, forming an opening, adding built area – requires the engineer's approval. Damaging a load-bearing element without assessment is a serious safety risk. Even in a renovation it is important to consult them.
The link to execution
Precise execution according to the engineer's drawings, together with professional supervision, ensures the structure is as safe as designed. We work in full cooperation with the designers throughout the project.
